FEATURED STORY 🔥

Zuckerberg's New Goal: Building AGI for Meta

The CEO of Meta (formerly Facebook) is focusing on creating Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). He's combining Meta's AI research with the team making AI products for Meta's apps. This move aims to bring AI improvements directly to users. Zuckerberg doesn't have a set plan or definition for AGI yet (is it just us, or does this sound a bit crazy?), but he believes it's essential for new products.

There's a big competition for AI experts, with top talents getting huge salaries. Zuckerberg is also investing in powerful computers for AI, planning to own over 340,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs by year's end.

Zuckerberg thinks developing AGI will be a slow process (not what Sam Altman thinks). He's influenced by Meta's language models like Llama 2 and 3, which are getting better at understanding and planning.

He prefers an open-source approach to AGI, to avoid power being held by just a few. This is different from some companies that keep their AI work private. Despite this new AI focus, Zuckerberg says Meta is still committed to its virtual reality projects, like the metaverse. He sees a future where AI and humans interact more in virtual worlds.

MidJourney and Dall-E are cool - but what about using it to create a business? I did some research around the organic search volume for coloring page related terms - and it’s MASSIVE!

That’s Monthly Search Volume in the US

What about using MidJourney to create these coloring pages, uploading them to a website, optimizing them for Google organic traffic, and then monetizing via display adverts and selling “premium” coloring packs?

That’s exactly what SuperColoring is doing - and driving 1.4 MILLION monthly visitors (according to Ahrefs). At a modest $10 RPM they are making north of $14,000 monthly just from the display adverts.
