The ChatGPT Killer: Google's Gemini

Google has launched Gemini, its most advanced AI model yet, surpassing OpenAI's capabilities. 

Gemini is now integrated into Bard and the Pixel 8 Pro smartphones, with plans to expand across Google's services. Google CEO Sundar Pichai highlights Gemini's significance in Google's technological advancements. Despite Bard's initial shortcomings compared to ChatGPT, Google asserts significant improvements with Gemini.

Gemini is available in three versions: Gemini Ultra, competing with GPT-4; Gemini Pro, surpassing GPT-3.5; and Gemini Nano, optimized for mobile devices. Currently, Bard operates on a refined version of Gemini Pro, with a paid version of Gemini Ultra expected next year.

Google's benchmarks show Bard outperforming ChatGPT in various measures. Gemini also enhances Android features like the Summarize function and Smart Reply on Pixel 8 Pro.

Gemini's superiority is evident in its performance on the MMLU benchmark, excelling in multiple subjects. However, its full capabilities, particularly in non-English queries, remain to be publicly demonstrated. Read More
