OpenAI Launches GPT-4o with Enhanced Multimodal Capabilities

OpenAI introduced GPT-4o, a new AI model capable of processing text, speech, and video, promising a more dynamic interaction with technology.

This model, an upgrade from the previous GPT-4 Turbo, integrates voice handling, enhancing user experience with real-time responsiveness and the ability to understand nuances in speech. Initially, GPT-4o’s audio features will be available to a select group of partners due to potential misuse risks. The model is now accessible in the free tier of ChatGPT and for premium subscribers, with plans to expand its features and applications.
